Teacher Expectations for March 27, 2009 Project Participation

General Expectations:

1.  Follow up with postings on the GSN wiki outlining your use of the collaborative tools and district training.

2.  Provide a training session to share the knowledge you have gained with colleagues.

3.  Use the tools as described in Session Expections below

Session Expectations:

1.  RSS Feeds and Social Bookmarking and Tagging:

• Setup and use Bloglines and Delicious
• Describe on the GSN WIKI the benefits and reactions to these tools.

2.  Google Docs and Google Sites

• Create at least one classroom activitity or collaborative use for two different google doc tools.
• Post examples, links, and descriptions on the GSN WIKI .

3.  Blogs and Wikis

• Use a blog or a wiki for a classroom collaboration or for professional use.
• Post examples, links, and descriptions on the GSN WIKI.

College Credit Expectations:

Participants seeking college credit will in addition to using the tools for themselves and providing training will submit a paper outlining their use of the tools and  distirct training sessions.
